Dr. Liz Bolton grew up in Raleigh and graduated from the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She spent several years practicing small animal emergency and critical care medicine in Cary prior to following her true passion to practice feline only medicine, spending several years leading a cat hospital in western Canada. Ultimately though, home was calling, and Dr. Liz was happy returning to North Carolina in 2015 to join the Cat Clinic of Greensboro team of veterinarians.
Dr. Bolton’s interests within feline medicine include metabolic and endocrine disorders, geriatrics, and dentistry. She feels a special affinity for the self-defensive (aka “grumpy”) cats and endeavors to work with them to make their veterinary experience as pleasant and feline-friendly as possible. Dr. Liz believes every cat is “the best cat” and works to provide the happiest and healthiest life possible for the felines entrusted to her care. Outside of work, Dr. Liz can be found reading, volunteering, playing board games, and traveling. She shares her home with rescue cats Lee and Kara.
