Dr. Elder brings a wealth of experience and a passion for animal care and feline medicine to the Cat Clinic team. With 13 years of local practice under her belt, she is a trusted and accomplished veterinarian.

Born in Charlotte, NC, Dr. Elder grew up in Greensboro from the 3rd grade onwards. Her love for animals was evident from a young age, and she pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian with tenacity and focus. Dr. Elder graduated from North Carolina State University as Pre-Vet Club President, Valedictorian and earned Summa Cum Laude honors.

In 2010, Dr. Elder earned her degree from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her dedication to animal health and well-being is matched by her expertise. Her interests include Feline Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric care, and Ultrasonography.

When she is not in the clinic caring for your kitties, Dr. Elder is a devoted mother to her young children Ava (5) and Wyatt (2). At home, she has four furry feline companions - Oliver, Calvin, Badger, and Willy. Despite balancing work and parenthood, Dr. Elder remains passionate for wildlife rehabilitation and the great outdoors. She loves immersing herself in a good book or exploring the beauty of local parks and hiking trails.
