  • Dr. Jennifer Mercier

    Dr. Jennifer Mercier

Raised on a lake in Maine, Dr. Mercier competed on the USA national gymnastics team before earning her bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the University of Utah.  She worked as a technician in a veterinary hospital in Salt Lake City, where she fell in love with the animals, the medicine, and the people!  After moving to North Carolina, she attended North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2009.  She began working in small animal medicine in Greensboro shortly after that, and joined The Cat Clinic in October of 2010.

Dr. Mercier finds all aspects of veterinary medicine to be challenging and rewarding, but she particularly enjoys helping owners understand how to best care for their fuzzy friends.   She has a special place in her heart for kitties, having two of her own, Oscar and Tigger.  In her off time, she and her husband Geoff enjoy cycling, yoga, hiking, and vacationing in the mountains.

  • Maggie

    Maggie

Maggie was one of our beloved clinic kitties and she lived with us at the clinic for over 13 years. She was a feral kitty with very little trust in humans. With lots of love and patience, she eventually craved attention from the people she trusted and even let “others” pet her when she was on her favorite sleeping spot next to the computer at the reception desk.  Maggie crossed the Rainbow Bridge and while we miss her everyday, we are sure she is sleeping in her favorite spot and getting lots of head rubs.
