Kitten Adoption Program

Since 1993, we have maintained our Kitten Adoption Program as part of our ongoing mission to promote the health and well-being of Greensboro’s cat population.

We take in abandoned kittens, one litter at a time, and provide care and housing for them until suitable homes can be found. All kittens are given a thorough examination to help ensure that they are healthy prior to adoption. In addition to an exam, each kitten is tested for feline leukemia, checked for internal and external parasites, de-wormed, vaccinated, and given a dose of Advantage for flea control. Our kittens receive lots of love and handling while they are here with us, which helps make for happy kitties when they go to their new homes.

Anyone who adopts one of our kittens receives a 20% discount on the regular fee charged for the above services performed. They will also receive a 10% discount on spaying or neutering.

Maggie's Fund

You may have seen the collection jar on the front counter when you've brought your cat in to see us. Donations to Maggie's Fund help support our adoption program.

Our clients have hailed this program in that it not only aids in Greensboro’s unwanted animal problem, it helps ensure a healthy new family member.

Maggie thanks you for helping her fellow waifs and strays, and we appreciate your support

Maggie was our beloved hospital cat for many years. She crossed over the rainbow bridge in 2013, but her memory lives on in the fund that was established in her name many years ago.
