Our greatest resource is our dedicated staff. We have three doctors and adoctors and a very skilled and enthusiastic support staff of eight who work as a team to help provide the best care for your pet. Everyone at the Cat Clinic is here because of their dedication and commitment to the well being of cats. We are also always happy to assist our clients with advice and information regarding the care of their pet. Our team of doctors and nursing staff is constantly expanding their knowledge and skill level through continuing education seminars in all areas of feline medicine and surgery.

Dr. Elizabeth Brumback Eilers grew up in Greensboro and attended UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergraduate before graduating from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  She practiced in small animal and emergency medicine in Wilmington, NC and in Southern California before returning to Greensboro in 2003 when she joined the Cat Clinic family.  In January of 2010 she became owner of the Cat Clinic.  Dr. Eilers enjoys getting to know her patients and their owners and loves the challenge and fun of feline medicine.  She and her husband Pat enjoy being outdoors hiking, cycling and camping, as well as anything on the water.  They are happy pet parents to a cat named Clark and a lovable dog named Tsali.

Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Dr Angela Bentley pursued her dream of helping animals by attending the University of Guelph and completing the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario. Dr Bentley tried to avoid the snowy and cold winters in Canada by moving to North Carolina immediately after graduation in 2001.
During her schooling, Dr Bentley took part in an internship at a 24-hour care facility, did some work in Nepal, and did various rotations with exotics and zoo species.  Dr Bentley has worked in small animal and emergency medicine since her graduation.

Dr. Bentley spends as much of her free time as possible with her family.  She and her husband, Chris, have one child together named Preston and three other children from previous relationships - Katlynn, Christopher, and Dillion. Dr Bentley is owned by Junebug, a white and grey 4 year old short hair - he is the sole feline member of the family at this time.  Dr Bentley also has 4 dogs – Sweet Pea, Polly, Lucy and Ginger.

Dr. Jennifer Mercier

Raised on a lake in Maine, Dr. Mercier competed on the USA national gymnastics team before earning her bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the University of Utah.  She worked as a technician in a veterinary hospital in Salt Lake City, where she fell in love with the animals, the medicine, and the people!  After moving to North Carolina, she attended The North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2009.  She began working in small animal medicine in Greensboro shortly after that, and joined The Cat Clinic in October of 2010.

Dr. Mercier finds all aspects of veterinary medicine to be challenging and rewarding, but she particularly enjoys helping owners understand how to best care for their fuzzy friends.   She has a special place in her heart for kitties, having two of her own, Oscar and Tigger.  In her off time, she and her husband Geoff enjoy cycling, yoga, hiking, and vacationing in the mountains.

Maggie
is one of our beloved clinic kitties. Maggie has come a long way since we first acquired her. She was a feral kitty, not willing to trust anyone. With lots of love and patience, she now craves attention from the people she trusts and even lets “others” pet her when she is on her favorite sleeping spot next to the computer at the reception desk
Jake is our official greeter and, ambassador of good will and administrative assistant. He greets everyone who come through the door and will often try to sit in your lap or escort you to one of the waiting rooms.  He loves to lick the envelopes and help with the stamps.  He is a much loved new edition to our clinic family.
