Since 1993, we have maintained
our Kitten Adoption Program as part of our ongoing mission
of promoting the health and well being of Greensboro’s
cat population.
We take in abandoned kittens, one litter at
a time, and provide care and housing for them until a suitable
home can be found. All are given a thorough examination to
help ensure that they are healthy prior to adoption. In addition
to an exam, each kitten is tested for feline leukemia, checked
for internal and external parasites, dewormed, vaccinated,
and given a dose of Advantage for flea control. Our kittens
receive lots of love and handling while they are here with
us which helps make for happy kitties when they go to their
new homes.
Anyone who adopts one of our kittens
receives a 20% discount on the regular fee charged for the above
services performed. They will also receive a 10% discount on
their spay or neuter when the time arrives.

a healthy new family member
